Appeals |
The Bill Whittaker Fund |
The Trades Council set up a fund in memory of Bill Whittaker and started with a legacy he left us. The fund is used to help trade unionists with the costs of TUC education courses that they otherwise couldn't afford such as ECDL and CLAIT computer courses which hopefully then enable the member to get a better job. We are always looking for donations to the fund which is becoming depleted due to increased fees charged by the college. |
Anyone wishing to make a donation to either appeal should send cheques, payable to "Burnley Trades Council", making clear which appeal you are donationg to, to our Treasurer: Ian Alderson: 6 Shakespeare Street, Padiham, Burnley, Lancs, BB12 8SN. Tel: 01282-775591. e-mail: isald@ntlworld.com |
